Here is one of my poems, which was originally published in Flatmancrooked's Slim Volume of Contemporary Poetics:
Akimbo
by Amy Bleu
I don’t like what you stand for
But I like the way you stand there
Arms akimbo
Dominating
Every space you inhabit
Confident enough to conquer
Every creature
Who extends a tender arm
Tentative as a tendril
In the vain hope
Of reaching
You.
